The Natura Beach is a truly unique holiday retreat. A small hotel and private villas, set on a stunning location right on a very long stretch of sandy beach and surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean orchards and gardens, it is an ideal choice for anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating stay close to nature. Guest who stay at the villas can if they choose also use the facilities of the hotel, including bars, restaurants and activities.
The location of the Natura is ideal. Just a few kilometres away from the hotel, figuring prominently over the horizon on the west, is the Akamas peninsula nature reserve, an area with an immensely rich flora and with several walking trails. The immediate surrounding area of the hotel is equally rich in wildlife. During the summer month’s guests will notice along the beach numerous turtle nests, which are monitored by a local conservation centre as well as by the hotel staff. The hedges that surround the hotel orange groves are full of nesting birds, while the house martins and swallows have already managed to build their own nests on the walls of the hotel. During autumn and spring the Polis Bay becomes the centre of a main migrating route for a wide variety of water birds and guests can actually bird watch while enjoying the sunset from their villa.
For those seeking a more active vacation the Natura Beach is the place to be. Guests can choose between a swim in the warm and crystal clear waters of the bay or a dive into the hotel pool. Or they might go for a game of tennis, table tennis, basketball or volleyball. Others may yet prefer a workout in the hotel gym or a yoga session on the hotel lawn, or may even prefer an early morning or late afternoon run on the endless beach, succumbing later to the temptation of a relaxing sauna. Not to mention the enjoyment of a walk or a ride with the hotel mountain bikes through the beautiful surrounding countryside. The hotel is associated with a nearby Water Sports centre offering among others instruction in scuba diving at all levels. It also has an association with a firm specialising in biking and jeep excursions as well as with a nearby Horse Riding school. The choice of activities on offer is wide and guests will simply have to make a choice. In any case here at the Natura we will do our best so that by the time our guests are in the plane for their trip back home, they would have already decided to do what our swallows do: come back next year.
The restaurant specialises in traditional Cypriot dishes and healthy diet meals making extensive use of locally grown products including hotel grown organic vegetables. Buffet evenings are also frequent. The rich buffet breakfast is served for most of the year on the spacious restaurant porch. The Cocktail Bar, with a fireplace and piano, as well as the Pool Bar, among others serve a range of hotel produced herbal tea's and freshly squeezed juices from the produce of the hotel orange groves.
For the children there is a paddle and playground while the management will be pleased to provide baby cots and high chairs. Connecting rooms are available on request and baby sitting arrangements can be made. The hotel doctor, who is fluent in English and German, will always be available should the need arise.
Each of the five luxurious villas has its own swimming pool and three twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. A spacious veranda opens into the citrus groves and the large first floor terrace offers a beautiful view of the bay. Each villa has a lounge and dining room, a fully equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning and heating in all rooms, satellite TV and radio, direct-dial telephone, a safe deposit box, and a private car park. Extra sofa beds are available. There is a maid service twice a week.
