Let's face it, you are probably coming to Cyprus to enjoy some holiday sun, but when exactly does the summer begin and end in Cyprus, when is warm and when is it hot. We'll answer these questions below.
Summer Villa Holidays in Cyprus
If you are after nothing but sun and you want to enjoy the Cyprus weather and its beaches or you want to relax by your own private swimming pool at the villa, try and aim between the months of June through to the end of September. These are the hot months, with the peak in July, August and September. All of our villas come with air conditioning, so being indoors allows you to enjoy a cool controlled environment. Please be aware, temerature can go as high as 40 Degrees Celsius, bring sunblock! The weather in Cyprus during the summer is rain free, with plenty of sunshine from about 6am to 8pm.
Spring Villa Rentals
Spring is a stunning period in Cyprus with the fields literally coming to life with bright poppies, daisies and an assortment local flora that light up the countryside like an artist's canvas. Temeratures are moderate with a range of between 25 degrees to 30 degrees during the months of April/May and Oct early Nov. The weather in Cyprus is pleasant with cool breezes taking the edge off the heat and it is a favourite time for people looking for a quiet and relaxing break.
Winter Holidays
Many people still visit Cyprus in the winter, because there is snow here! The Troodos mountains form a stunning backdrop when looking at them from the beaches of Paphos and the hiking and secnery up there is superb. Log cabin hotels, small villages and snow covered ski runs adorn Mt Olympus and one can practically see the entire island from the summit. Our villas do come with central heating or split unit air conditioners so keeping warm is easy.
