What is the civil ceremony?
A civil ceremony is a non-religious
legal marriage ceremony normally conducted by a registrar.
Cyprus civil wedding ceremonies are held at the Paphos town hall as
well as many other venues of your choice such as the beach!
Please note that to have the ceremony at a venue other than the town
hall, an additional fee of CYP250 is charged.
What does it cost?

What is required?
1) Letters from your country of
origin stating that you are free and single to marry and signed by a
notary
2) If divorced – original copies of the divorce
papers. It this document is not in English it must be translated to
English or Greek and signed by a notary and this as well as the original
document are required.
3) Your Passports.
4) The town hall only performs civil ceremonies on
weekdays (Mon - Friday).
5) Two witnesses.
