Lysos is a small idillic Cypriot village that is nestled in the Akamas area. Our Lysos venue is suited to those who want to spoil themselves and their group to an all inclusive wedding and holiday as there are 15 rooms in the stone built hotel in which we hold the wedding. You and your family/friends can enjoy some stunning scenery by the poolside, taste local Cypriot living while being close enough to island's main towns and harbours.
Lysos is a superb option for those looking at keeping the budget down but the quality up. The retreat is also ideally located close to the village church where ceremony can take place.
The village is characterized by a picturesque square and a number of small historic churches. For the more energetic there are a number of hiking trails of varying length and accessibility. To the east there is the famous picnic area Stavros tis Psokas, home to the emblematic mouflon, and beyond there are the famous monasteries and the mountains which provide skiing in the winter.
The restaurant offers something different! Traditional Cypriot or a choice of International dishes are expertly prepared and presented by the owners using fresh locally sourced foods. Unwind with a cocktail or perhaps a village wine, while taking in the spectacular views.
The 15 rooms all have a bath, shower and a mini bar and are on a bed and breakfast basis, with a laundry service if required. Relax on your private balcony with stunning sea or mountain views, or enjoy a swim in the pool which also commands outstanding views. Each room is temperature controlled and is equipped with satellite TV, radio, and telephone with direct internet access. The mountain location and the traditional stone structure of the hotel ensures cool breezes in the summer but warmth in the winter, which is the perfect time to explore the forest trails of the Lysos forest.
