Prema is a small Indian restaurant tucked away just off
the main section of Tombs of the Kings Rd. The restaurant
has a very personal touch to it, making for a pleasant
night out. The food is excellent and the usual suspects
can be found on the menu.
Whilst we have sampled quite a few of the Indian restaurants
in Paphos, we felt Prima deserved mention as they have
chosen to steer clear of catering for the masses which
one usually associates with over commercialization of
a tourist area. Good Indian cuisine in the Mediterranean,
what more could you ask for! Indulge in the Tandoori,
pickles and chutneys, vegetarian meals and buffet lunches
throughout the week. Usual dishes can be found on the
menu such as:
Balti, Biryani, Dopiaza, Jalfrezi, Karahi, Korma, Madras,
Pasanda, Roghanjosh, Vindaloo all made in a combination
of either Chicken, Lamb, Prawn or vegetables.
To locate:
Starting at the main traffic lights by the Roman Hotel,
follow the Tombs of the Kings Rd until you come to another
set of traffic lights. Turn left here and about 100 meters
on the right you will find Prema!
Other things to do in the area:
Being located on the Tombs of the Kings Rd you can enjoy
the remainder of your evening in one of the many bars/pubs
that can be found on this road, or take a very short drive
up to the Paphos Harbour which also houses many coffee
shops and bars.
